Doll Houses

I've been in a "we can make it" mood for a long time and I'm adding a DIY dollhouse to that list. I'd like to do this for my daughters for Christmas however I don't think I'll be able to get it done in time and I have fear that the littlest one may eat the tiny pieces of furniture. Also, I'm undecided about which kind of house to build...the victorian? the quirky bookcase house? the modern minimalist? or how about a miniature version of my modular dream house?

I may have to save this project for next Christmas. Anyways, I want to share some adorable dollhouses that I found on Pinterest:

1. The Qubis Haus by Amy Witworth Design in London: This is a dollhouse that doubles up as a coffee table!

2. A cool way to repurpose a cabinet into a dollhouse. I like the drawers on the bottom for storage of extra furniture, dolls and doll clothes.

3. The ever versatile Ikea Expedit which has been hacked to a dollhouse.

4. Everything about this dollhouse, I would love to have in my own house. Look at that wall paper in the nursery!
